Job Description
Position Title: Forklift Operator
Wage: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 06:00 am - 02:00 pm

Building supplier of lumber to the manufacturing housing industry. A forklift operator performs tasks associated with moving goods from point A to point B. The operator might load/unload trucks or assist with supplying the production area with product or removing finished loads to warehouse storage areas.
Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads trucks and rail cars.
- Moves materials and other products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required.
- Breaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading product onto a truck or rial car.
- Perform routine post and pre operation inspections to ensure that the forklift is in proper, working condition.
- Maintain yard and ensure it is organized and clean.
- Complete paperwork as required.
- Follows all company forklift rules and policies.
Requirements:
- Must have basic math skills and be able to read a ruler.
- Must be able to work SAFELY, always being safety conscious. Safety is the #1 priority at this location.
