Job Description

We are hiring a Reliability professional to join our team at Memphis plant site.

The person will work with site resources to identify and resolve equipment reliability issues. Work will consist of analysis of historical work completed, analysis of maintenance practices and techniques, application of preventive and predictive maintenance technologies, and defect elimination. Also, will have a high level of knowledge in at least one area or equipment type. Work is performed under general supervision.

Main responsibilities:

  • Identification, Design, and Implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of recurring reliability issues.
  • Coordination of Predictive Maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown maintenance repairs including direct supervision of contract maintenance crews.
  • Assist in the identification and tracking of plant critical spare parts.
  • Assist in revision and development of written mechanical maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in the analysis and improvement of site precision maintenance techniques.
  • Lead and participate on reliability improvement teams.
  • Perform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies, Sanitation, and Pest Control.
Job Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in a technical field.
  • Preferred Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in maintenance and reliability with high-speed rotating equipment.

Knowledge of:

  • Theories, principles, methods and procedures of applicable field of engineering.
  • Statistics and experimental design.
  • MS Office package including Visio.

Ability to:

  • Manage projects.
  • Collect, process and analyze data.
  • Develop creative solutions to problems.
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
  • Execute Six Sigma methodology.
  • Work effectively both independently and within teams.
