Geotechnical Principal Engineer

We are actively looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable geotechnical expert to assume the role of Principal Engineer within our Geotechnical team in Memphis, Tennessee.


As part of our expansion with opening our doors in Memphis in Spring 2022, we are currently seeking a Geotechnical Principal Engineer to leverage your technical expertise, foster client relationships and help grow our services in the Memphis market. Our firm was founded on our strong geotechnical expertise and this individual will play an integral role in mentoring and supporting the growth of our office.


What You Will Do:

As a Geotechnical Principal Engineer, you will assume a pivotal role in guiding and propelling our geotechnical engineering services forward. Leveraging your technical expertise and extensive experience with highly complex projects of considerable size and critical importance, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions to our diverse clientele.


  • Offer strong project leadership to guide and direct geotechnical engineering services.
  • Collaborate with various service lines to deliver integrated solutions for project design and scope.
  • Mentor junior staff members to ensure cohesive project execution and development.
  • Contribute to meeting project deadlines with technical expertise in complex projects.
  • Play a key role in generating clear and concise geotechnical reports.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle for overall project success.

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, or related field
  • You have a minimum of 15 years work experience in geotechnical engineering
  • You have your Professional Engineer (PE) license

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference Check Program.
