Job Description

Job Purpose Statement

Locates and picks product to fill customer orders in all picking areas within the Warehouse Distribution Center. Locates, gathers, and transports quantities of filter products throughout the distribution center and warehouse areas to fill customer orders. Operates powered equipment and assist in physical inventory counts as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Shift:

1st shift:6AM - 2:30PM

2nd Shift: 10AM - 6PM

Pay Rate: $19.00 plus $1.00 shift premium.

Essential Functions:

  1. Demonstrate good work ethics in teamwork and individual work.
  2. Ability to work well under pressure and execute duties in a prioritized manner.
  3. Meet targets for safety, quality, cost, customer service.
  4. Inspecting for damages, shortages, and reporting quality deficiencies.
  5. Responsible for constant training.
  6. Printing and applying shipping labels.
  7. Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
  8. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  9. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  10. Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  11. Adhering to safety management standards.
  12. Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  13. Properly handle material within company protocol.
  14. Mark pallets as required for identification.
  15. Responsible for housekeeping and organization standards in assigned areas of warehouse.
  16. Follow set priorities throughout shift.
  17. Perform weekly forklift safety verification.
  18. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Ability to work independently and within a team equally.
  2. 2 ~ 5 years of experience as a forklift operator or similar role.
  3. Good knowledge of industrial equipment.
  4. Ability to communicate concerns, issues, and work duties effectively.
  5. Mathematical aptitude.
  6. Experience working in a fast-past environment/ manufacturing plant.
  7. Previous experience in: Shipping/ Receiving/ Material Handling (preferred).
  8. Experience driving a clamp attachment (preferred).
  9. Ability to learn quickly and be self-motivated.
  10. Forklift Certification.
  11. Forklift/Tugger put-away/battery charging.
  12. Must be organized, accurate, timely and preform duties in a safe manner.
  13. Standard safety training knowledge.
  14. Ability to lift, stoop and bend with no restrictions.
  15. Experience operating forklift (stand up sit down, dock stocker, and reach truck).
  16. Experience using RFID scanners.
  17. Experience using hand pallet jacks.
  18. Experience operating shrink wrapper/palletizer.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include color acuity, near acuity and depth perception. Requires the ability to master use of scanning technology and equipment.
